The Maple Valley Medical Clinic is located at 111 S. 5th Street in a building named the Ganzhorn Health Services Building. It is a new facility which provides the community with good sound quality medical care and over the years has continued to expand its services for the communities of Mapleton and its surrounding areas. It currently has 2 physicians and an approximate staff of twenty to help and serve patient needs and concerns. The clinic offers the services of six specialties at the present time, they include Cardiology, Hematology-Oncology, Cardiovascular, Podiatry, Orthopedics, and OB-GYN care, all of which come here from Sioux City, Iowa.
The Mapleton based clinic is affiliated with Marian Medical Services. Burgess Memorial Hospital located in Onawa, Iowa offers the services of Mental Health, Physical Therapy, and Home Health. The Maple Valley Clinic since its beginning has updated the X-ray equipment, made improvements and expanded its lab capabilities, has made available the ability to receive chemotherapy in Mapleton at the clinic, with the help of Maier Family Pharmacy which had to make improvements to his business, has a nutritionist on staff, and has the computer ability to link in with Marian Health Center Hospital in Sioux City directly.
We at the Maple Valley Medical Clinic are proud of the accomplishments and look forward to providing quality medical care to the communities on the 90's and beyond. We continue to grow and upgrade our services to meet the challenges and changes in the ever-changing world of healthcare.
